About the Presenter

Sue Pine is the Executive Director of NAPO and VP of Professional Development at Association Headquarters (AH).

A Certified Association Executive (CAE), she has worked for over 35 years in the "association management" world. Since 2012, Sue has been with AH, a professional-services firm that specializes in helping non-profit organizations achieve their mission, create value, and advance their causes, industries, and professions.

Sue is a frequent speaker at the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE), the Association Management Company (AMC) Institute, and a variety of ASAE State Society meetings. Sue is an ASAE trained facilitator of the ASAE Certificate in Association Management. She is a subject matter expert on Environmental Scanning, Trends Monitoring, AMC Accreditation, Volunteer Management, and Board Development topics.

Sue has received the 2009 AMC Institute Lifetime Achievement Award, the 2008 Leadership Award from the ASAE-AMC Section Council, and the 2015 MASAE Distinguished Service Award.
